Luckily, the dining room had plenty of space available & we were seated right away. I came for their lunch special (that runs Monday-Friday) around 2:00 & was amazed at how packed the bar was. The servers were very friendly/attentive, the dining area was spotless & the food was absolutely amazing. From the start of my visit all the way until the very end it was a great experience. Visiting Anthony's is a must if you care about eating delicious, genuine Italian food. Very interesting, albeit short conversations, but the noise level was comfortable and we were able to enjoy our convos.Overall was a great time. ![]() Chatted with friendly patrons while there. Vanessa, the bartender did a a wonderful job. Altho she went with an espresso martini as her dessert. It was delicious and surprised that it was the house cab. the house Cabernet was from the Paso Robles section of California. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the sausage wasMade in-house. We liked the S&P sausage so much we ordered another. As well as a Cabernet. The snacks were nicely priced and the meat plates were delicious. We ordered three bar bite items, shrimp cocktail, meatball with ricotta and then Italian sausage with peppersAnd onions. A week later my wife and I decided to try out the happy hour menu. Stuck my head in the door and thought, " what a nice place". Walter talk with your chef cause he doesn't have this executed properly. Bistro mezzaluna makes a better one and so did bravos. Another amateur move chef! Just horrible don't waste your money on that pathetic seafood salad it's the worse I've ever had. No mussels, no clams and one pathetic shrimp with the tail intact. and never mind there was no scallops even bay scallops. When I complained the chef said "one shrimp only" yeah that's not a seafood salad it's a octopus salad and the chef should of been put in his place by Walter one shrimp, don't be cheap, you've even got shrimpOn the happy hour menu it should be three minimum. It's all octopus, calamari and chunks not bite size and they gave me one shrimp. Next I tried the "seafood salad" that was just added to the menu for $19. ![]() Consistency is key here and the chowder is not. Sometimes you get lots of clams and veggies other times you don't. I love their clam chowder although it's inconsistent as hell. After having been a loyal customer throughout the pandemic I hate to write this but after last night I don't think I'll be back.
